doto

I have a great sense of humor (not to brag, but I do) I laugh at almost everything thing in life, awkward moments, sad moments, happy moments, goofy moments, great moments. Thus, I had to have a good chuckle when I tried to start writing my To-Do list for tomorrow's activities and tried to make it look really pretty and nice...

Do To....

I'm left handed and didn't even see what I had written until I lifted my wrist...oh my, late on set of dyslexia. (I have a great story about the word dyslexia, I'll save it for a rainy day)
Do To -day list? ....No ... no possible way to salvage that sorry excuse for a to do list title. http://img4.realsimple.com/images/products/to-do-to-buy-notepad_300.jpg
maybe I should get one of these...but I can't part with my little lavender notebook.

I wanted to do a post on Mc Donalds...

K, I wanted to do a post (rant) on Mc Donalds, since that is the one and only thing me and my bf get fired up about...which is funny really. I refuse to talk about his Fast Food habits anymore because it just makes me upset.
Random Fact number one about me: I'm a food snob. I prefer organic in any possible situation, I don't enjoy heavily processed foods and I love cooking. I've been vegan for about a year and a half, and although I still dont' eat meat I will on occasion eat things that may contain dairy or eggs.(Although I've found it's best to stay away due to my onset of lactose intolerance) I haven't stepped near a Mc'D's since I was 12 and found an employee hair in my sealed parfait. I had never been to a Waffle House until we got stranded in ATL for the night (don't get me started on this night) and hadn't eaten since 8 am. (I don't do plane food either...see where I'm going with this?) Anyways, long rant short, I refuse to give any money to McD's or any other fast food company. With possibly the except of Chic-Fil-La, who've I've researched and found to be quite a good company. By this I mean on occasion(aka forced) I'll opt for their fruit cup and measly excuse of a salad...(a few pieces of lettuce with a slice of tomato)...
for the sake of my (future children's) health and well-being I'm refusing them from eating fast-food....that will be a whole other argument with the BF completely! https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEivBrq3Yd4DdZp6KFtasXN736vRhyozzBZ2ALRYj4xGKkyhnoZznIBIxkMt4w4b3bLGVFHdz-0Q0MehrZcZ0RytCMu3eYM-kjn4buBxJHzt5g-36qOOGlNkbQ-MEUGiQGVNewqKvnsQnKI/s400/mcdonalds_fat_kid-betterby30-fergie.jpg
End of Rant.

What my post was going to say was:
I'm still in bed..
It's 11:05am.
And all I want is a starbucks to float down from the heaven's and cuddle with me in my egyptian cotton sheets.

How to Retire a Millionaire by Age 45

I'm young...very young in relation to the world. 20. I still have a year until I can legally drink (even though I've had more than my share...so I'm not to worried about it) I'm also super concerned with living a happy, prosperous life. I will admit I've not always been good with my money, I go through phases. But I am really interested in all these articles letting me know I can be a millionaire by the time I'm 45. humm......yea..If I live off Bread and Soy Cheese until then.
Lets see what the x'perts say....
  1. Start at age 21.

  2. Step 2: Invest $20,000 now at a 29 percent return rate until you are 45.

  3. Step 3:Or, invest $118,336 now at a 15 percent return rate until you are 45.

  4. Step 4: Or, invest the $20,000 now, plus $782 per month, at a 15 percent return rate until you are 45.
OOOHHHH ok, so I just gotta pony up a cool 20 grand OR 100 grand...and stick it in a bank..which bank?!? who knows OR 782 a month. This is all the article says...helpful yahoo...really helpful.
This is stressing me out...I'm going shopping.

Word on the Street...

Skip over this content
Word on the street is that many retailers in Europe have pulled the highly popular drink,"Red Bull" as researchers found trace amounts of cocaine...

After many nights of red bull and vodka drinking during my ignorant days of unhealthy life-style living (sans my starbucks addiction which is still very prevalent in my life) I could never figure out why I always woke up shaking and my heartbeart a million miles a minute. Turns out I was getting drugged...Damn you Red Bull (Disclaimer: My now organic, healthy self wants to encourage everyone to NEVER drink soda anymore....so not worth it....it makes you fat)

Red Bulls= next Cocaine Fix....
http://www.redbull.com/img/products_triple.jpg
Red Bull said its cola is "harmless and marketable in both the U.S. and Europe." It said similar coca leaf extracts are used worldwide as flavoring, and a test it commissioned itself found no cocaine traces.

Just don't do it....although their cans ARE very cute and flashy....a starbucks cup is so much cuter...or a bottle of SmartWater.

Hello Jesus!

So yesterday me and the boy got up and after our multiple cups of joe headed off to our first church service (well mine, not his...and I've previously went to a Catholic church that just wasn't my style.) Anyways, we headed to The Bridge which is a contemporary service held at the First United Methodist Church downtown...

And I LOVED IT!

there was band, and the pastor told a great sermon. I didn't feel awkward being there,(ok I won't lie the first 5 minutes but after that I was fine) I didn't feel pressured or I fully enjoyed the experience and look forward to making it a reoccurring activity for us. It helped me just relax for a while and just reflect on myself. Since I was brought up without the influence of religion I am hoping to learn how faith can positively influence the choices I will make in life.

Things I've Learned in the Last Year

I've been thinking alot about some important lessons I've learned over the last year:

1. If you're unhappy with your situation...CHANGE IT! Don't let others determine your happiness, fate or decide whats "best for you." You are the ruler of your destiny.

2. I've learned what it means to finally be in a strong, supportive relationship. And I like it, but it makes me feel silly

3. Breaking a shopping habit is difficult; but do-able. I have my credit card paid off, and money in the bank. It relieves much stress, except doesn't make

4. Stop planning and start living. I used to be so concerned with trying to plan and worry about the future and I realized in a a HAH moment that I should just live NOW. oh for the love of the present.

5. Laugh...alot. Find something that always makes you laugh, and hold on to it...tightly!

6. Before you think its a good idea to stop showing up to work...remember how nice the bi-weekly paychecks were and decide if it was worth the 5 hours of fun you didn't have shopping.

7. Take more time than you think is needed to tell the people in your life that you love them and appreciate them.

Star-Broke

Every morning I wake up and start my coffee IV drip...I stop around 5pm. so I'll be able to sleep only to start the cycle again the next morning. Thanks Starbucks for harboring my addiction .

No but all serious aside (?) (Cuz I was being serious, not about the IV since I'm terrified of medical equipment, but about how starbucks has contributed to my lack of financial stability) I only let myself get a Soy Latte about 3 times a week. I know!! Good girl.

*In addition: I just found out at 11:39am. that it is in fact friday, which I was convinced it was thursday...for the love of summer someone buy me a calendar.

Chelsea Lately

Chelsea Lately on E!

so funny, so inappropriate, and so funny (oh, I already mentioned that?) It is a great learning show, it should replace the train wreak of a show Jon and Kate Plus 8 on TLC ((which in case people forgot...is an abbreviation for "THE LEARNING CHANNEL"...not the, "I have a really really big family channel")). Anyway, She teaches people not to be so damn sensitive all the time and just have a good laugh...mostly at celebrities(which makes it even better for us normal citizens) enough said.

Thank You Chelsea Handler you always make my 11p.m's better
